Aloha

Hawaiʻi is home to me. It’s where I was born, raised, and educated. And, where I came back to after living on the east coast for over a decade.

Aloha is a special word to those who are from here and live here. Yes, we use it as a form of greeting that translates to “hello” or “goodbye.” However, it means so much more than that. It’s a way of living and being and the way we treat others.

I’m committed to working with you with care, respect, and integrity. With aloha. And, my work with you wouldn’t truly align with my values if I also didn’t use it as a way to give back to my community.

That’s why every month I will donate 10% of my profits to a non-profit in Hawaiʻi called Kupu. Kupu is dedicated to providing hands-on training in conservation, sustainability, and environmental education for young adults, with the goal of fostering our next generation of environmental and cultural stewards.

As someone committed to helping others with their career goals, it’s important to me to extend the same support to those in my own community. Kupu’s programs allow them to achieve the skills and knowledge to have careers that take care of the only home we know and a place where I hope you get to visit or come back to again and again.
